Kid CuDi - Maniac [Short Film]

Couldn't ask for a more perfect final post for Halloween night. Directed by Shia LeBouf, this short film takes us on the journey of following around two serial killers. What more do you need to know? Go enjoy.

Jon Connor - That's What He Does

Jon Connor's Vinnie Chase: Season 2 is on its way.

A$AP Rocky - LiveLoveA$AP [Mixtape]

A$AP Rocky has created quite a buzz for himself in the last few days from seemingly out of nowhere. This project seems to be the most anticipated of the day and it was pretty difficult to get my hands on when it dropped as some of the download links went down rather quickly. No need to worry though, as we got our hands on a working link that you can check out under the jump.

Jon Bellion - Dysfunctional Partnership

Just when we thought that we had enough on an overloaded Halloween of dope music, we hear about this new gem from the man Jon Bellion. Apparently there's also a video that goes along with this that he's having issues with on YouTube, but we'll get that updated as soon as we can. For now, enjoy this dope track from Jon filled with some recognizable quotables. Translations Through Speakers is on its way. EDIT: Hit the jump to check out the "making-of" video for this track.

Macklemore - And We Danced [Video]

As he had promised on his Facebook page, the Seattle artist has let go of his newest video for a track called "And We Danced" from The Unplanned Mixtape.

Previous: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Make The Money

Quiet Storm - I'ma Boss

QS goes in over Meek Mill's street single for the ninth straight week of #MSH Mondays. He's repping a lot of Suffolk on this track, so the 631 better be listening up.

Yung Nate - Meant To Be Broken [Album]

After the many leaks we've been dropping over the past couple months, Yung Nate is finally ready to introduce the world to his album, Meant To Be Broken.
"I want to thank the MOST HIGH because without HIM none of this would be possible. I want to thank my family and the whole Atkboyent Team for believing in me. I want to thank Woody for always being there for me, pushing me to become a better artist, and for never giving up on me. I want to thank Smarty for standing by me through all my bullshit and being the bad guy. I want to thank Chetara and Mugzy along with all of my other supporters for lending me their ears, I aint shit without yall. Also, a special shout out to all of the blogs and websites that have held me down since the beginning. I wouldn't have an outlet to reach anyone without you.
This album is my heart, I hope yall fuck with it. Word. " - Yung Nate
Hit the jump to check out the tracklist and download link.

Jimmy Fallon - The History Of Rap (Part III) ft. Justin Timberlake & The Roots [Live]

Jimmy, Justin, and The Roots are back at it again with another performance of "The History Of Rap". This time, they bring back Outkast, House of Pain, Run DMC, and more.

Drake - Take Care [Tracklist]

As we grow closer to the release date, the final tracklist to Drake's sophomore album has finally been released. Looks like "The Real Her" leak that featured Wayne isn't the final version, as a surprise guest was added to the list. Hit the jump to check it out.

Skyzoo - Written In The Drums [Video]

You better bet that when we put together our 2011 wrap-up post at the end of December that Skyzoo's The Great Debater will be in our list of top ten mixtapes of the year.

Previous: Skyzoo - Atypical [Video]

Sir Michael Rocks (of The Cool Kids) - Wassup [Video]

Previous: Sir Michael Rocks - I'm Doggin' [Video]

Pusha T - Peso Freestyle

ASAP Rocky's Live.Love.A$AP is definitely one of the most anticipated projects that's due to drop today. Pusha decided to do a little freestyle over his "Peso" single.

Bonus:

Pusha T - Tony Montana Freestyle

Pusha T - I'ma Boss Freestyle

Freddie Gibbs - Cold Day In Hell [Mixtape]

We got lots of "treats" coming your way to help celebrate this wonderful day of Halloween. While I take care of some candy corn at work, I'll begin sharing them all with you starting with this LRG-presented project form Gangsta Gibbs. Hit the jump for the tracklist and download link.

Matt Easton - Live Life [Video]

First set of visuals from Matt Easton's Old Hickory mixtape. This track is certainly a college anthem with it's "Live Life" hook.

Jet 2 - Never Stop

Jet, an artist based out of LA, is getting ready to drop a new project on November 17th titled Under The Radar. The title certainly fits the artist, because this leak from that project certainly goes in.

October 29, 2011

Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight (Simon Sh:Out Mix)

An already catchy track by Eagle Eye Cherry gets the "pop" treatment from Simon Sh:Out. This one is club ready.

The Black Hippy's HABITS & Contradictions is coming soon.

Bun B - The Life (prod. 14KT)

After winning the Redbull producer competition, 14KT was able to select any artist to record over one of his original productions. He picked Bun and the product makes us wanna see these two work together more in the future.

Ro Ransom - Even The Devil May Cry

It's been way too long since we've been blessed with a new project from the rapper formerly known as Nero. His Alive & Vibrant mixtape, which he dropped back in 2009 when he was only 15, is still on rotation consistently. Now, he's getting ready to release Ransomnia! very soon.

October 27, 2011

Immortal Technique - The Martyr [Album]

For the first time in his career, Immortal Technique has decided to release an entire album for absolutely no cost. Known by many for his extremely intelligent yet confrontational lyrics, this project could not have come at a better time with all that is going on today. Hit the jump to see the full tracklist, download, and check out a video of him being interviewed at #OccupyWallStreet in which he spits some bars from the track "Toast To The Dead".

Wale - Ambition [Album Preview]

Before Wale's Ambition drops this Tuesday, Warner Music Group put together this little interactive YouTube video made up of samples of the album. Let me say, this is my first time using one of these, but they're certainly a pretty neat tool for artists to use. So give it a listen and let us know what track has been your favorite so far.

The Cave Boys - Like That [Video]

This duo from Keene, NH has been making some noise in their area and most specifically at the University of New Hampshire where they go to school. You can check out some more info on these guys here and download their Now Boarding mixtape at DatPiff.

Hoodie Allen - James Franco [Video]

At this point, I kinda expected more videos to be released from Hoodie's latest project, Leap Year. That's probably why that mixtape has hit the shelves for me for the most part. Seeing this though is reminding of how dope of Leap Year really was. Anyway, this video was certainly worth the wait. Creative, funny, and simple.

Terrace Martin - Do It Again ft. Kendrick Lamar & Wiz Khalifa

This is one of the standout tracks off Terrace's Locke High 2 that's out now.

Ne-Yo - The Way You Move ft. T-Pain & Trey Songz [Video]

If there is such a thing, this one gets filed under the "classy" strip club video category.

DJ Premier - Regeneration ft. Nas & The Berklee Symphony Orchestra

"VIBE recently linked up with DJ Premier, Nas, and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra as a part of their RE:GENERATION project. Presented by Hyundai Veloster, RE:GENERATION is a documentary film that follows DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, The Crystal Method, Mark Ronson, and Skrillex as they remix, recreate and re-imagine five traditional styles of music."

Future - Tony Montana [Video]

This isn't even the best Future post of the day. Down bottom you can see the Rosenthal brothers interview him with their signature comedic style for their "The Check-In" series.

Mac Miller - Party On 5th Ave [Video]

Newest video from Mac is for track three off his debut album. You can also hit the jump to check out a video of him kicking a freestyle as DJ Green Lantern puts him "On Da Spot" for his Invasion Radio show. Blue Slide Park dropping November 8th.

J57 - The Main Event ft. Mayhem Lauren, Action Bronson, Maffew Ragazino, & Rasheed Chappell

The Brown Bag All-Star producer links up with some of the best up-and-comers from the boroughs of New York for this leak off his upcoming 2057 EP.

Yonas - Can't Knock Me Down

Action Bronson on "Last Call With Carson Daly" [Video]

Glad to see this man is finally getting some of the public appearances that he deserves. Would love to see Bronson make it big. Watch as he chops it up with Carson about being a chef-turned-rapper, what it's like to be from Flushing, and his upcoming project with Statik Selektah.

Previous: Action Bronson & Statik Selektah - Cocoa Butter ft. Nina Sky

Beyonce - Party (remix) ft. J. Cole [Video]

My personal favorite track from Beyonce's 4 album (most likely because of the Andre 3000 verse) gets it's own set of visuals for the remix that features J. Cole.

Pac Div - Useless ft. Asher Roth

Responsible for one of my favorite projects of the year so far (Mania!), Pac Div is getting ready to drop a brand new album to end the year called The  DiV. The west coast trio links up with Asher for the second leak off the project that's expected to drop November 8th.

Childish Gambino - Twistclip Loop Freestyle

Hopefully this new freestyle from Gambino can hold us over until his debut album, Camp, is released on November 15th. He's certainly not holding anything back on this one.

Kyle Lucas - Purple Cloud Thoughts [FreEP]

Vonnegutt front-man has been busy working on his debut album for Purple Ribbon, but between sets he's had time to put together this seven-track project for us. This EP includes features from STS and Simon Illa and can be downloaded for free under the jump.

Mary J. Blige - Mr. Wrong ft. Drake

Everyone enjoys a new Drake verse, right? This one comes as a feature for Mary J's upcoming album, titled My Life II... The Journey Continues (Act I).

Jon Connor - Around

The "rapper's rapper" from Flint, MI slows it down a bit on this track that didn't make the cut for his upcoming Vinnie Chase: Season 2 mixtape. We're still patiently waiting on that to drop soon.

October 26, 2011

Dom Kennedy - When I Come Around [Video]

From The Westside, With Love II is out now and still getting slept on.

Ludacris - I'm On Fire ft. Big K.R.I.T.

From Luda's upcoming mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts (Back For The First Time).

T-Pain - Nothin' ft. Detail [Video]

Even though I continue to doubt the rumors, it really looks as if T-Pain's new album, rEVOLVEr, is actually on it's way. This newest single features Detail (producer of Lil Wayne's "How To Love) and shows off a bit of T-Pain's rapping skills. If you could call it that. rEVOLVEr coming December 6th.

Evidence - I Don't Need Love [Video]

Ev's Cats & Dogs album is out now.

Freddie Gibbs - Let 'Em Burn (prod. The Olympicks)

Speaking of LRG-presented projects, Gangsta Gibbs' newest mixtape, Cold Day In Hell, is finally expected to drop this Monday (October 31st). Production from MMG's The Olympicks.

The Kid Daytona - God Is Good (prod. Statik Selektah)

With all of the success that The Kid Daytona's The Interlude project brought him, he decided to follow it up with a sequel that will, just like the first, be presented by LRG. Statik Selektah, fresh off his Population Control project, is on the boards for the first leak. Expect more from this soon.

J. Cole - Lost Ones [Video]

Think all of the tracks from Cole World: The Sideline Story were new? Think again. The video for this one was created way the fuck back in 2008 (it feels '08 was much longer ago), which means the track was recorded around of before that time. Before the hype, before he was signed, and before his debut album was released Cole has been putting together great music. We hope he continues to do so with a long career ahead of him.

October 25, 2011

Nas - It's A Tower Heist ft. Rick Ross [Video]

Danny Brown & Black Milk - Black & Brown EP [Stream]

Even though the release date for the Detroit artists' collaborative EP isn't until November 1st, that didn't stop them from streaming the full project online. You can hit the jump to check that out. Applaud those men, and if you really would like to thank them, go pre-order the Black & Brown EP through Fat Beats Records right now.

B.o.B Discusses Sophomore Album, 'Strange Clouds' [Video]

XV - U.F.C. ft. Kristina Rose [Video]

Wale - Slight Work ft. Big Sean (prod. Diplo)

Wale Folarin isn't quite finished with leaking tracks from his upcoming Sophomore album, Ambition. He gave Diplo the go-ahead to release this track featuring none other then Big Sean. Glad he let this one go, because it's gotten me even more excited about the full album release then I already was.  Ambition dropping 11.1.11.

Emilio Rojas - Take A Good Look Around ft. Francisco

New leak featuring Francisco ("That's fun to say") from Emilio's Breaking Point mixtape hosted by BBC Ice Cream and DJ Green Lantern. The release date has been pushed back to possibly November 17th, but don't get your panties in a bunch people. This is free music!

B.o.B - Fucked Up ft. Playboy Tre [Video]

Previous: B.o.B - Epic ft. Playboy Tre & Meek Mill [Video]

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf [Video]

"Big Bad Wolf" "is pretty simple, and it can mean anything, really, so we wanted the video to have its own narrative," says A-Trak, one-half of the dance duo Duck Sauce, along with DJ Armand Van Helden. "Remember when dance music videos used to actually be creative? Like when you think back to Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk… I don't know why the genre's videos became so generic in recent years.

"When Keith [Schoffield] came up with this idea of 'crotchfaces,' we just thought it was hilarious," A-Trak continues. "He started coming up with all these gags and describing the characters living in this sort of parallel world, and we were sold. He wasn't sure if we'd be down to play the leads, but our take on this was, if we're going to do this, we need to go all the way. So we played the dickheads, essentially."

Kyle Lucas - Cut Me Down (prod. Simon Illa)

The Purple Ribbon affiliate is getting ready to drop a free EP on Wednesday titled Purple Cloud Thoughts. Simon Illa kills the beat.

Some new Pusha to hold us over until Fear Of God II: Let Us Pray drops on November 8th.

Pearl Jam - Ole

Just about 20 years ago Seattle, WA sparked one of the coolest movements in music history: Grunge! One of the few bands that survived outside of the grunge years and has been kickin' major butt since then is Pearl Jam. They have just recently released a reflective album/documentary titled PJ 20, which entails some of their greatest works over the past twenty years. While not on the latest release, Pearl Jam also has released a new single titled "Ole" which hopefully means a new album is in the works.

The Parlor Mob - Into The Sun [Video]

Here's The Parlor Mob with their latest video for "Into The Sun". If you have never heard of these guys definitely tune in to this video because the thumping of the old school sounding fuzz driven guitars and the Geddy Lee-esque vocals will definitely tickle your rock n' roll fancy. Beyonce - Party (remix) ft. J. Cole

The original version, from Beyonce's 4 album, featured a rare verse from none other then Andre 3000. Now, we get the remix with J. Cole that we've been hearing so much about. Would have preferred to hear Cole and 3 Stacks on the remix together, but this is the version that will be getting the set of visuals. Look for the video to debut on BET's 106 & Park on October 25th.

Statik Selektah - Population Control ft. Sean Price & Termanology [Video]
