Danny! - Hoedown Showdown ft. Von Pea

This is going to be found on Danny!'s re-release of Where Is Danny?

Kendrick Lamar - HiiiPoWeR [Preview]

Not sure when we're going to be getting the full video. The way this video was filmed it kind of reminds me of Tyler, The Creator's video for "Yonkers".

Jon Connor - I C U Lookin

On top of Jon Connor as Vinnie Chase: Season 2 dropping soon, we can also expect The Salvation EP to be released some time later this year as well.

Karmin - 6 Foot 7 Foot (Cover) [Video]

After slaying "Look At Me Now", Karmin is back to take on Weezy and Cory Gunz. These two were also featured on The Ellen Show recently.

Jennifer Lopez - Hypnotico

What really caught my interest about this song was that, according to Legend, it was written by Lady Gaga.

Consequence - Everybody Told Me (prod. Kanye West)

Cons' is already working on Part 3 of his Movies On Demand mixtape series. Damn, he's putting in work. Anddd this Kanye beat is smooth.

DJ Khaled - Welcome To My Hood (remix) ft. VA [Video]

Soooo, where's the "hood"? And I'm not sure how or why T-Pain is still relevant.

Busta >

Blind Fury - Friends Before Lovers [Video]

It's great to see Fury get some real recognition for his music. I guess all it takes is to be a monster on 106th & Park's Freestyle Fridays.

Clyde Carson - Where Doves Fly ft. Wyclef

I'm definitely a fan of this Bay Area emcee and I haven't even heard too much of his stuff. Lucky for me he's got a mixtape dropping this May called Something To Speak About.

Snoop Dogg - Peer Pressure [Video]

Soul Khan - Soul Like Khan [Video]

Hmm.. I'm going to have to say this is my second favorite cut from his Soul Like Khan project, just behind "Fahrenheit".

Fly.Union - TGTC (The Greater Than Club) [Mixtape]

After a bunch of leaks, the Ohio group lets go of their newest project with features from BJ The Chicago Kid, Dom Kennedy, and Pac Div. Hit the jump for the tracklist and download.

MED - Superman (prod. J Rocc)

CyHi Da Prynce - Top Of The World [Video]

The Weeknd - Loft Music (remix) ft. Donnis

I'm surprised it took this long for a rapper to put some bars over a track from The Weeknd's House Of Balloons mixtape.

Luke Christopher - Roof Tops ft. Asher Roth

The 17 year old up and coming artist gets some help from Asher on this one.

Cobe Obeah - Takeover Freestyle [Video]

Mac Miller Attempts First Stage Dive [Video]

While performing "Donald Trump" at Indiana University, Mac gets to know the crowd a little better. Something tells me that won't be the last time this dude gets the chance to do that with such a long career ahead of him.

This track goes as a tribute to Guru.

Sir Michael Rocks - Over And Over ft. Phil Ade [Video]

From Mikey Rocks' The Rocks Report.

Ludacris - F5 (Furiously Dangerous) ft. Slaughterhouse & Claret Jai

I've had absolutely no interest in seeing these movies ever since I watched the third one. To be completely honest, I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I even saw it. Not to say that the soundtrack can't be dope.

Beastie Boys - Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win ft. Santigold

Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 drops May 3rd.

Von Pea (of Tanya Morgan) - Grand(er) Vonye [Mixtape]

In the words of Von Pea:
Grand(er) Vonye! remixed in 24 hours 4 years ago. I love the samples I found for Progress Report and Critical Beatdown (keep in mind this is a remixed project so these beats didnt exist when the songs were written) and I got tired of not sharing this with anyone so…here it is! (You can say $0 by the way)

Eminem & Royce Da 5'9" Announce Bad Meets Evil EP

These two have had more opportunities recently to work in the studio together and are taking advantage of that by dropping a long awaited collaborative album on June 14th called Bad Meets Evil.

Yonas - Nobody Else [Remix] ft. Phil Ade

Go check out Yonas' debut album, The Proven Theory, that just dropped today.

Charles Hamilton - NHF [Mixtape]

It makes me so mad to see the amount of potential this guy used to show just completely disappear. The Pink Lavalamp is still to this day one of my favorite albums ever. Some may call that a mixtape but if you can listen to that whole project all the way through and tell me it's not better then more then half the music you've ever heard, then you're crazy. It has pretty much been downhill since then between getting punched in the face, lying about working with Dilla, and falsely claiming he has AIDS and cancer. Hell, I think the only thing productive he's done recently is help jump start the career of former Penn State student turned rap battler, Rone. Hopefully he's trying to find his way back on track but this new 6-track sure isn't showing any signs of that happening soon.

Frank Ocean - Songs For Women [Unofficial Video]

Somtimes when I'm not able to fall asleep at night, I like to put on some Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, or James Taylor. Minutes later I'm sleeping like a baby. Don't hate.

Dope concept, Blaque Keyz brings the crazy lyrics like usual, and Jon Bellion solidifies the backup vocals. These two will be a problem in the future.

The "Where The Party At" crew puts together a new tape prior to their new album, The Remedy, dropping June 21st. Damn, that one song still gets sooo much play from me during parties.

Below The Heavens Catchup Post

I really hate falling behind on posts, but with a busy schedule it's tough to stay on top of all this great, new music coming out everyday. I'm taking the lazy way out this week and compiling a quick post of all the singles that have dropped in the past few days that I believe deserve some shine. Oh, and it seemed like a great way to reuse the new title I have been using as the website header. How does everyone feel about that new logo? Well, hit the jump for a bunch of new music.

David Dallas - Ain't Coming Down ft. Buckshot

Mac Miller - Piffsburgh x 3rd Dimension

These 2 Mac cuts came from the Piff Jar mixtape of various artists. With songs from Mac, dropping on a day like this, and coming from a project by the name of Piff Jar, you can only guess what the topic of discussion is.

Hip Hop vs. Miami Horror

After listening through XV's latest Zero Heroes mixtape, I found myself playing the song Foreign Exchange Student over and over again. Featured on this song was the electro-pop group from Australia known as Miami Horror- whom I had never heard of before (I'm not really into the electronic scene). The track didn't really seem like something XV would usually do, so I did some research on the group and was able to find the original version of the song. While searching through some of their discography on Grooveshark, I also heard quite a few of their other songs that sounded very familiar to me and noticed immediately where I had heard them before. Well, XV isn't the only artist to recently work his own song onto a Miami Horror track. What great way to reach out to different fan groups. I love finding things like this by mistake. Hit the jump to check out some of their other songs that were transformed by hip hop acts.

Chris Brown - She Can Get It

And yet another unreleased Breezy. I can't imagine how many tracks he actually recorded before making the final cut for F.A.M.E.
