While performing a show out in France, Gambino decides to kick a freestyle during some technically difficulties on stage. Also included in the video is some behind the scenes action of Donald and his crew.

Jon Connor Freestyle on Toca Tuesdays [Video]

For the past two years, Jon Connor has been murdering freestyles all over radio shows across the country. It's a damn shame to see him get snubbed from that XXL Freshman List among many other artists. I'm pretty sure I should just be focusing on getting my own list off of my chest before every post I do turns into a complaint at this point.

Emilio Rojas - Stay Schemin' Freestyle [Video]

Emilio goes HAM over Rozay's monster of a beat. Has anybody not taken their shots at this instrumental yet? Damn, I feel like even I should give it a try...not. Make sure you go check out his Breaking Point mixtape if you haven't done so already.

Nicki Minaj - Dirty Money (Unreleased) x Freestyle [Video]

"Damn, look at the state of hip hop. What's going on?!". Those were some of the last words spoken by Nicki in this video after she had just finished killing an on the spot freestyle. To answer your question Nicki, you're the problem. She used to be a hard femcee from Queens that many knew for her appearances on the Come Up DVD series. Now she's turned into a fake hip hop pop icon that is loosely labeled a rapper. Stop being Barbie or Roman and start being Nicki. It's a damn shame to see what some people will do to their credibility to become rich and famous.

You can also hit the jump to check out what Waka Flocka had to say about Nicki's Grammy performance. Spoiler alert: the word "Illuminati" is thrown around.

Chuuwee & J.Good - Sacramento Cypher [Video]

Two of the nicest up and comers now were recently part of this "Sacramento Freshmen 2011 Cypher" that included some other young rappers coming out of Sac-town. I knew Sacramento had hella talent, but really had no idea that it ran this deep. Damn.

Skyzoo: Friends With Words [Video]

To help start off their new "Friends With Words" series, Karmaloop reaches out to the incredible Brooklyn emcee Skyzoo. For this series, the featured rappers are given 12 words on slips of paper and are asked to add those words to a freestyle on the spot. I think it was good choice letting Skyzoo go first to set the bar high. We're interested to see who they bring on next. Who would you like to see take their try at this?

Chris Webby - Bus Freestyle [Video]

Not that I hate on Chris Webby, but his music just isn't my cup of tea. However, this is the second time I've seen this kid spit a freestyle off the top and it's wow'd me both times. Such a lost art in hip hop today, so it's great to see someone still holding it down.

French Montana Freestyle On Cosmic Kev Come Up Show [Video]

As we all watch the Grammys (and I write the BTH review) I'm still searching for new content to share with the people!...dedication huh? lol. Enjoy the French freestyle from Cosmic Kev.

Los Freestyle On Toca Tuesdays [Video]

Been listening to my XM radio all day and the killer freestyles keep on coming. Finally found a video of this one, and if you know anything about THE BTH team, you know we're huge fans of Los. Enjoy this one, Los is a problem!

Pevious: Los - Lord Knows Freestyle

Meek Mill - LA Leakers Freestyle [Video]

Meek Mill drops a quick free over the Drizzy beat....just like every other rapper out. But the more important thing is he confirms what Wale hinted at on twitter last night, new music from Wale. THAT'S what we're all really waiting for, right?

Common Freestyles at D. Wade's 30th Birthday [Video]

While out in Miami for the celebration of Dwayne Wade's 30th born on day, Common Sense took the stage as one of three performs (T.I. and Rick Ross were the others). Since they both are from the same neighborhood in Chicago, he felt that it was only right that he blessed the room with some bars off the top over the piano keys to 'Celebrate'. After all, what would a birthday be without Common freestyling for you personally. Maybe I'll work on that one for my next bday.

Big Sean Freestyle on HardKnockTV [Video]

Sean stops by HardKnockTV to kick a few bars for them. Still waiting on that mixtape that he promised prior to his debut album. Now that I think of it, that may be pushed to the back burner even farther now that the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album is currently in the works.

Childish Gambino - I'ma Boss Freestyle [Video]

Glad to see that Donald didn't just disappear after the release of his debut album, Camp. Watch here as he kicks a few bars over Meek Mill's 'I'ma Boss' for SBTV.

Justin Bieber - Who Shot Ya Freestyle [Video]

Justin Bieber stopped by Cosmic Kev's recently and decided to lay a few down over Biggie's classic hit. Could this kid actually be trying to take a rap career seriously? Because it certainly sounds like he's dumbed it down a bit from his previous sessions and is trying hard to go off the top. Christopher Wallace must be turning in his grave.

Mac Lethal - Look At Me Now Freestyle [Video]

For whatever reason, Mac decided to label this video "Nerdy white kid KILLS "Look at me now" (while cooking)". Guessing he thought that that would generate more views, since way too many people aren't aware of what a Mac Lethal is. Similar to his response video to "Pale Kid Raps Fast", Mac lets loose some quick bars over the very popular "Look At Me Now" track and proves that he can compete with any of the other choppers in the game. Oh, and did I mention that he cooks breakfast while he does it?

Maffew Ragazino - Unsigned Hype Freestyle [Video]

Ragazino Sr. stops by The Source Magazine's offices in New York City to shoot this video for his Unsigned Hype freestyle. You better believe he murders it. If you haven't already, make sure you go download his Rhyme Pays album for free right now as it is one of the most slept on projects of the year.

Justin Bieber Hot 97 Freestyle [Video]

Again?! And the crazy part is that this kid is actually getting better. Could Biebs actually turn his post-puberty years into a rap career? Or if the rumors are true that Luda writes all his lyrics for him just making this a short-lived gimmick. Anyway, check out JB kick some bars at New York's Hot97 with Cipha Sounds, Rosenberg, and K. Foxx.

Jon Connor Freestyle on Shade 45 [Video]

The "people's rapper" from Flint, Michigan stops by Sway in the morning to do what he does best. Rips it!

Childish Gambino NYU Freestyle 2004 [Video]

"To give it some context, my freshman year at New York University was beginning and I had moved into Goddard Hall about a week prior. All of Goddard’s floors had themes, I was on the 4th floor (Music) while Donald was the RA on the 7th (Writing?). During that first week of college when you meet everyone and you condense yourself into a soundbite, I felt most comfortable with “I’m Chaz, I’m a Cinema Studies major and I rap.” Soon I was noticing more and more “Have you met Donald? He’s on the 7th floor and he raps too” responses. We finally met in really quick passing between classes and had one of those “You like rap? I like rap too! I like MadVillain. You like Madvillain too?! Let’s rap sometime!” rapidfire dialogues that happen in the hustle and bustle of college life. Later that night, during my dorm’s nightly “Basement Jam” sessions where all the musicians would just play and everyone hung out in-between loads of laundry and games of Donkey Kong, someone noticed Donald and I were both in the same place and invited us to rap together. Some of the guys playing weren’t too familiar with Hip-Hop beats, so we asked if they knew “Back in Black.” They did, and so this happened."
