Cris Cab Performs 'No Woman, No Cry' With Wyclef & OAR [Video]

While the young Miami native was performing at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC this past weekend with OAR, they went into a cover performance of one of my favorite songs of all time. To the surprise of the fans, The Fugees own Wyclef Jean hopped on stage to help really put the performance over the edge. This over 7-minute cover of the track is just classic, as Cris Cab, Wyclef, and OAR front-man Marc Roberge all got a chance to sing the song in front of the packed New York crowd.

Fistful Of Mercy - Buckets Of Rain (Bob Dylan Cover)

To honor one of the great folk artists of all time dozens of musicians including Fistful Of Mercy were gathered to celebrate the legendary Bob Dylan. Artists such as Dave Matthews Band, State Radio, Maroon 5, Elvis Costello, and even Ke$ha are featured on this tribute album titled Chimes Of Freedom: The Songs Of Bob Dylan. Here is just a taste of what the album has in store with Fistful of Freedom performing 'Buckets Of Rain'.

Frank Ocean - Thinking About You (Tori Kelly Cover) [Video]

Without a doubt my favorite R&B track of 2011 had to be Frank Ocean's (or Bridget Kelly's) "Thinking About You". It was smooth, powerful, and full of emotion. I wouldn't expect anybody covering this track to possibly make it sound any better then it already is, but this came damn close. With Angie Girl on the beatbox, the beautiful Tori Kelly kills this cover while playing guitar.

Mike Posner & Blackbear - Stay Scheming (Acoustic Cover) [Video]

As if the original version wasn't good enough, they had to go and pull off a gem like this. Mike Posner gets together with Blackbear for this incredible in studio performance of Rick Ross' Rich Forever cut. No doubt that Mike is one of the most talented dudes in the game and this video just further proves that statement.

Collin McLoughlin - Someone Like You (Cover) [Video]

Multi-talented artist Collin McLoughlin shows off some of his range with this cover of Adele's smash hit and mixing in some parts of Katy Perry's 'The One That Got Away' and Rihanna's 'We Found Love'. This is video is about a week and a half old, but I thought everyone should still check it out! This kid Jef is an amazing guitarist and was featured on Diddy's TV show "Making the Rock Band". On behalf of us here at BTH, we would like to wish every a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We apologize for how incredibly slow we've been the last few days but that should all change shortly. I would like to start off by sharing DJ Earworm's 2011 wrap-up consisting of 25 of the year's most popular songs all mashed up.

"It doesn't match Billboard's U.S. year-end list, since I'm basing it off of the weekly lists this year in order to more accurately reflect what was actually popular during 2011. Because of the Billboard's early cut off date and their emphasis on chart longevity, songs that are released after August are either split between the two years or moved to the next year. I also don't want a track appearing two years in a row just because it happened to be peaking right at the arbitrary cutoff date. From my perspective, a song belongs in the year it peaked, not the year it ended its long run. For instance, "We Found Love", which has been #1 for the last 8 weeks of the year, is nowhere to be seen in Billboard's Top 25, and may not make it next year either. This year-end bias seems inaccurate to me, and I want to more truly reflect the pop music scene from the American perspective."

Astro - Black Or White [Live on X-Factor]

For anyone out there that has not been checking up on this season of The X-Factor USA, this young kid from Brooklyn, NY has been killing it every week. Even though he's the only rapper I've ever seen on a music competition such as this, he's been able to wow the judges with every performance he has done so far. What's even crazier is that he has written an original song each week so far (unlike other artists who have been performing covers) and he's only 15-years-old! Whether or not he is able to win the entire competition may be a different story, but after all is said and done, this young MC will have a bright future ahead of him.

This video is from last night's performance of The X-Factor in which the theme of the week was a Michael Jackson tribute. Astro was able to take "Black Or White", one of the best songs in the history of pop, and turn it into a more modern, yet still powerful song for a newer generation. Enjoy, and keep your eye out for this kid as the competition continues.

August Rigo - Too Big To Fail [Mixtape]

We previewed a track recently that featured Busta Rhymes. Now, the Def Jam producer/singer/songwriter is back with a full project to show off the immense talent he possesses. Included in this project is the before-mentioned track, "Here Comes Trouble", as well as his version of Justin Bieber's "U Smile". After all, he did write the song.
