Vonnegutt - Bright Eyes [Video]

Between demos and snippets, we've been hearing about Vonnegutt's 'Bright Eyes' track for quite some time. Now that Kyle Lucas and crew have the final cut down for the first single off their upcoming Falling Up The Stairs LP, they hit us with the video as well. We were really feeling that Kate Upton version, but this one isn't bad either. Oh, and did I mention that this track can be downloaded for free? Be on the lookout for their Purple Ribbon debut to hit shelves this summer.

Charm City Devils - Man Of Constant Sorrow

Many of you out there may have not heard of Charm City Devils. Well, now here's your chance. This up and coming hard rock band from Baltimore, Maryland is a hidden gem that is sure to make it to the big leagues. Check out their latest single "Man of Sorrow" and be sure to be on the lookout for their sophmore album Sins dropping April 10th.

Shinedown - Bully [Video]

Shinedown is at it once again as this past Friday the hard rock quartet just released their 4th studio album titled Amaryllis. It may be difficult for these Floridian fellas to top the awesome success they had with their last album, Sound Of Madness. Nonetheless, the first single off the new album, "Bully" is sure to be played on rock radio throughout the country. Their unique blend of hard and alternative rock allows the band to have singles that are radio-friendly enough while still being able to pack a heavy rock punch for their more loyal fans into their albums. Say Anything - So Good

Anarchy, My Dear is a milestone 5th studio album for the indie-punk band known as Say Anything. This album is unique from their previous records in some subtle yet creative ways. It seems as if the band members have matured musically and have began to explore different creative routes. Isn't that what making music is all about? Punk rock is an extremely intricate genre of music. It has its haters, while it has its diehard fans. Either way it should be a respected genre of music. Whether you're a hip-hop fan or a Vans wearing rocker sportin' a green mohawk, punk music is relate-able to everyone. Within its simplicity comes extreme value. These power cord striking fellas have a story to tell. Whether it be about a love, jealousy, or stickin' it to the man everyone can empathize, or at least sympathize with a punk song. Big Wreck - Albatross [Video]

As you great fans of BTH may have already realized I am a huge fan of 90's rock. It has the perfect mix of grit, creativity, and passion. So, it is no surprise that I am extremely excited that one of the great bands of the 90's, Big Wreck, has just released their first album since 2001's The Pleasure and The Greed. My fellow 90's rock fanatics may remember their single that put them on the map "The Oaf", which you can find here. Their latest single "Albatross" has been out for a few months now, but just recently their music video has come out to accompany this great tune. If you're a fan of their single, be sure to pick up their new album, Albatross, in stores now.

John Mayer - Shadow Days

It's hard to believe the 23-year-old kid from Connecticut who used to sing about going back to high school after becoming a star has far surpassed his childhood dreams as the now 34-year-old John Mayer is set to release his 5th studio album, Born And Raised. After his success of his 2009 album, Battle Studies, Mayer hit a rough patch as this past Fall he needed surgery to remove an enlarged nodule in his throat dangerously close to his vocal chords. After months of rest, Mayer is back on track and is ready to release his new album May 22nd of this year. His first single off Born And Raised is titled 'Shadow Days' and will most definitely be heard on radio stations throughout the country, but for now get your first listen here at BTH. Enjoy!

For over 20 years these boys from Buffalo, NY have been jammin' their faces off purely for the love of the game. Well, guess what folks? They ain't done yet. Moe. has just released their 15th studio album titled What Happened To The La La's. Check out this brand spankin' new upbeat, free spirited, classic sounding track titled 'Downward Facing Dog'.

Fistful Of Mercy - Buckets Of Rain (Bob Dylan Cover)

To honor one of the great folk artists of all time dozens of musicians including Fistful Of Mercy were gathered to celebrate the legendary Bob Dylan. Artists such as Dave Matthews Band, State Radio, Maroon 5, Elvis Costello, and even Ke$ha are featured on this tribute album titled Chimes Of Freedom: The Songs Of Bob Dylan. Here is just a taste of what the album has in store with Fistful of Freedom performing 'Buckets Of Rain'.

Evans Blue - Halo

The Ontario born alternative rock quartet are just putting the finishing touches on their fourth studio album titled Graveyard Of Empires. The album is set to grace our presence April 17th of this year. These guys will most definitely get your blood pumpin'. Check out their first single titled "Halo".

Van Halen - Tattoo

Through thick, thin, and what seems to be countless lead vocals changes nothing seems to slow Van Halen down as this past week the boys that rocked the 80s released their 12th studio album titled A Different Kind of Truth. Despite the changes and passing years, this album definitely has that same signature Van Halen sound that the fans have become accustomed to. Here's "Tattoo" which is the first single off the new album.

Yelawolf - Marijuana [Video]

Instead of dropping a video to help promote his new Radioactive album, Yela drops this one for a track off his pre-Shady Records Trunk Muzik 0-60 album. I always thought the feeling this track had was more 90s rock then actual hip-hop and the hook nearly sounds like Curt Cobain singing the chorus of 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.

BTH Presents: Ripped Jeans and Angry Teens [Mix]

It was just about 20 years ago that perhaps one of the most influential movements in musical history thrust itself into existence. During the late 80's and early 90's a little town known as Seattle, Washington gave berth to some extremely talented musicians. Bands such as Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Alice In Chains blazed the trail for many musicians who emerged in the years after the grunge movement. Filled with aggression, passion, and some of the meanest riffs you could ever hear, grunge quickly spread outside of Seattle to the rest of the world. So, without further ado BTH presents a tribute playlist to this great era of music: "Ripped Jeans and Angry Teens".

Metallica - Beyond Magnetic EP

After falling short working with Lou Reed on LuLu, Metallica has redeemed themselves with the release of Beyond Magnetic. This is a small compilation of previously unreleased tracks recorded during the Death Magnetic sessions. While its no Master of Puppets, this EP does have a hint of the Metallica of old. This EP is loaded with the fast paced, high voltage riff's of James Hetfield and the cries of Kirk Hammett's solos. So, without further ado, here's Metallica with "Hate Train".

Korn - Narcissistic Cannibal ft. Skrillex & Kill The Noise

Korn has managed to always remember who they are over the years and not get sucked into the many black holes scattered throughout the music industry. However, on their new album, The Path of Totality, they take an interesting risk in collaborating with Skrillex and Kill the Noise. The high risk move resulted in a high reward as their single, 'Narcissitic Cannibal', turned out to be a brilliant piece of work. The contrast between the thumping bass, roaring guitar, and astounding beats came together like three puzzle pieces and created a perfect picture.

Nickelback - Here and Now

For more than a decade Nickelback has been rockin' it with their heavy riffs and Kroegers amazing vocals. However, I regret to inform you that Nickelback fans may be a little disappointed with their new album Here and Now. As Nickelback has squeezed its way into the mainstream it seems (and I hate to say this) that they have been just phoning it in as of late. Their last album Dark Horse showed some symptoms of pop-rock fever but this years Here and Now has got it full blown. The musical arrangement has is weak compared to previous albums and the lyrics are even weaker. Here's one of the more solid songs on the album, "Midnight Queen" but, I'll let you decide for yourself.

Pearl Jam - Ole

Just about 20 years ago Seattle, WA sparked one of the coolest movements in music history: Grunge! One of the few bands that survived outside of the grunge years and has been kickin' major butt since then is Pearl Jam. They have just recently released a reflective album/documentary titled PJ 20, which entails some of their greatest works over the past twenty years. While not on the latest release, Pearl Jam also has released a new single titled "Ole" which hopefully means a new album is in the works.

Paramore - Renegade

It was a major cause for concern for Paramore fans when two of the five founding members quit the band earlier this year. However, this couldn't stop the remaining three members from rockin' their hearts out as the trio has just released their latest single appropriately titled "Renegade". So, no worries fans, Paramore is here to stay.

Nickelback - Bottoms Up

Nickelback currently has two new singles out, "Bottoms Up", which you can listen to right here, and "When We Stand Together". These songs will be featured on their upcoming album Here and Now, landing November 21st. Now, Nickelback fans will understand why I chose to post this song rather than its calmer counterpart. Every Nickelback album always has at least one or two "radio-friendly" songs on it, while the other 80% of the album will be pure hard rock. From a business standpoint, it's pure genius. Honestly, how can any music fan dislike their catchy, emotion filled tunes that flood the airwaves whenever a new Nickelback album is out. However, with this great success the band achieves, radio lovers do not get the chance to hear what kind of band Nickelback truly is: a hard rocking, a$$ kicking, bass pounding, rock and roll machine! So, if you have always liked what you hear on the radio from these guys, here is your chance to hear what kind of band they really are. Beware, this song may cause an urge to turn the volume up to 10 and thrash around your house, dont blame me for breaking your mom's favorite vase. Enjoy!
