Where are all of our Maybach Music Group fans at? Rick Ross and crew are taking over New York next week with three great shows to go and check out. First, they'll be in Rochester on Sunday, March 11th at The Bluecross Arena with Meek Mill, Wale, and French Montana. Then on March 13th, he'll be assisted by Meek Mill and Wale as they tear the roof off Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC followed by another show in the Bronx on the 15th featuring Ross and French Montana. Various other MMG artists will also be in attendance, so don't miss out!

Each year, a group of MTV panelists sit down to discuss who they think the hottest MC in the game is and each year the final list of top ten candidates are scrutinized by just about everybody. While the list doesn't always necessarily contain the most talented artists out there, they certainly do a great job of ranking the "hottest" artists. Which I guess is what it's all about, right? After all, this may be the only list we'll ever see again where the names Jay-Z and Meek Mill are placed right next to each other. This year the crown when to Maybach Music Group leader Ricky Ross. "M-M-M-Maybach Music". Need I say more?

Meek Mill - Errday ft. Rick Ross

No doubt that Meek was the most talked about street artist of 2011 and he's looking to duplicate his success in 2012 with the release of his Dream Chasers 2 mixtape. Already with one banger of a track (with video coming soon) listed to be on it, this Rick Ross-assisted track proves that 2011 was no fluke and that the follow-up to Dream Chasers is going to be a serious problem.

Even with the release of Ross' Rich Forever mixtape being tomorrow, that doesn't stop the MMG crew from releasing this new material off their upcoming MMG Uncut album. Not too much information about the project is available, but we do know that it will feature nearly the entire Maybach roster. We're hoping that the quality of the project is up to par with Self Made Vol. 1.

Drake and Rick Ross Working On "Y.O.L.O." Collaborative Mixtape

 

According to XXL, although Drake's collabo project with Lil Wayne has been shelved, there's still another one in the works with Officer Ricky titled Y.O.L.O.- or You Only Live Once. As of now there is no release date for the project, but Drake may keep it that way and drop it unexpectedly for the fans. Unfortunately, Ross hasn't been able to put much work in lately for this mixtape because of his health issues.

Sunday's are usually very slow in the new music department, but it seems like that's not true in Drake's world. Three new tracks from his sophomore release, Take Care, have gone public one way or another just about one week before it's November 15th release. The first track, that features Rick Ross, was produced by Just Blaze, while the other two tracks include features from Rihanna and The Weeknd.
