Each year, a group of MTV panelists sit down to discuss who they think the hottest MC in the game is and each year the final list of top ten candidates are scrutinized by just about everybody. While the list doesn't always necessarily contain the most talented artists out there, they certainly do a great job of ranking the "hottest" artists. Which I guess is what it's all about, right? After all, this may be the only list we'll ever see again where the names Jay-Z and Meek Mill are placed right next to each other. This year the crown when to Maybach Music Group leader Ricky Ross. "M-M-M-Maybach Music". Need I say more?

I was expecting something extravagant for the video of the second single from Watch The Throne, but when I heard yesterday that it was going to be made up of live footage I was kinda disappointed.  After checking out this Kanye-directed video, it surpassed any expectations I had for it. I could even go as far as saying I was blown away. Kanye really took this to the next level. Watch as Jay and Ye perform 'Ni**as In Paris'... again.

Vevo Confirms That 'Ni**as In Paris' Video Drops Tomorrow [News]

As rumors have been flying around today that the second video from The Throne's album was to be dropping very soon, Vevo took to their Twitter machine to confirm that in fact the 'Ni**as In Paris' video would be dropping tomorrow.

Jay-Z To Perform At Carnegie Hall [Video]

What's the over/under on how many times he performs "Ni**as In Paris"?

"With the pair of shows — which will be held at Carnegie’s Stern Auditorium — Jay aims to raise millions of dollars for the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation in an effort to put low-income NYC students in a position to attend college.


Shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, Hov — as well as top brass from Carnegie Hall, the United Way and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation — gathered in Carnegie to announce the concert and talk about their fundraising efforts. Tickets for the dates will be sold privately and priced at a premium rate, fetching anywhere from $500 to $2,500 to raise a significant pot of money for the charity.


Regular fans aren’t completely shut out, though. On January 30, a number of reasonably priced tickets will go on sale to the public. The publicly sold seats are being released so close to the concert date in hopes of curtailing scalping. – MTV"

Unanimously the most anticipated track from Cole's upcoming debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. This is the lone feature from Jay-Z on the album so you know he had to come correct (because how could he let his protégé kill him on a track). Production done by the man J. Cole himself. Also, be on the lookout for the video for "Can't Get Enough" to drop at 10pm today.

Market Price Remixes Entire "Watch The Throne" Album

What's the best way for a lesser-known Electro/House group to get a little recognition? How about remix the most talked about album of the year in Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne. That's exactly what this duo from Los Angeles that goes by Market Price decided to do. I'm certainly not the biggest fan of Electro/House/Dubstep/Techno/etc. kind of music and there are even some times when I completely despise the idea of somebody trying to "remix" a perfectly good song. However, in the music world we live in today, there are so many artists out there that are creating dance mixes such as this one. Which means it was only a matter of time before somebody began remaking a song or two from Watch The Throne, if not the whole thing. So, before I lose anyone, hit the jump to enjoy Mark The Throne. It's been quite some time since we've heard any new music from him, but today two tracks from Lenny Kravitz's upcoming ninth studio album have surfaced.  The tracks feature two of hip-hop's most recognizable names in Jay-Z and Drake and will be part of his album, titled Black & White America, that will be available August 30th.
