2011 was the year of dance music. 2011 was the year of mashups. 2011 was the year of Katy Perry. 2011 was one hell of a year for music. For the past few years, as new year's eve rolls along, DJ Earworm has put together a mashup that includes many of the most well-known, most-played, and award-winning songs of the previous year. With the number of electronic DJs dramatically increasing, so have the number of year-end mashups that are being released. We decided to share five of our personal favorites from the likes of artists all over the world. While you'll recognize many of the same songs being used in each of the five, they all have their own unique sound that makes them great. Enjoy!
