Right when I think that the Odd Future member has another hit song on his hands with this one, I found out that it's only a demo intended for Roc Nation's own Bridget Kelly who will call it "Thinking About Forever". For those who don't know, Bridget Kelly has been seen singing "Empire State of Mind" with Jay-Z during his Blueprint 3 tour and at a 9/11 memorial show. With this possibly being her lead single for her debut album, expect great things from Ms. Kelly coming in the future.

I had to let go of my most anticipated track from the Uncontested EP that was released earlier today. Spree Wilson has the potential to be a future star in the music industry with this ability to sing, rap, write, and produce. You can certainly make comparisons between him and B.o.B, but if this man gets his break you can be sure that he'll be a famous name just like B.o.B.

Childish Gambino Performs New Song [Video]

Even though we haven't seen very much activity from Donald Glover's Twitter machine or website in the last few months or so, that may be a very good sign for any fans of his music. Before performing this brand new song during his Comic-Con show at The House of Blues in San Diego, he let the fans there know that he has been very busy as of late working on his new album (which some are saying is due out in September?). Just judging by the live footage of this track, I think we can expect a great project from Childish Gambino whenever it is he does decide to surface the finished product.

311 - Time Bomb

The boys from Omaha are back! I'm two days late on this post, but it is because I have been enjoying the sweet sounds of 311's new album Universal Pulse which dropped on 7/19. This album is definitely different than any of their previous albums. It seems to be a hybrid of Transistor and Uplifter, mixing hard guitar with catchy pop-like rhythms and lyrics. Nonetheless it's a solid album, but it would be nice if there were more than 8 songs though. With that being said, rock on!
